A small, intimate wedding on the beach

It didn't rain...in fact it was a beautiful day, well except for the wind... The bride and groom wasn't concerned at all. They were so eager and happy to get married that the rising tide didn't even seem to bother them! The ceremony took place in Arniston on the beach near the water. The bride and her father had quite a distance to walk, but that gave the groom plenty of time to admire his beautiful bride. There was only a small group of family present, which made the wedding very intimate. As the ceremony was nearing its end, the water was starting to rise and I would have gotten very wet if Laetitia hadn't warned me in time. After the ceremony Laetitia and I had a wonderful time taking their photos, while the family were having cocktails at the Arniston hotel. The bride was very easy-going and open to all Laetitia's ideas. She didn't mind doing things like climbing onto a fisherman's boat and walking down the slip way in the harbor...Most brides wouldn't do things like this, because they don't want to get their dresses dirty, but she didn't mind and that is why we had so much fun with them and got such stunning photos. After the shoot they had a dinner at the hotel, which included their first dance and the groom's speech. The wedding was small and not as long as other weddings I photographed, but the love that surrounded them was absolutely amazing and beautiful.

Photos soon to follow....
